FLOCC Studio Residency Program: Art for Everyone

The FLOCC artist residency program offers work residency to local Dallas artists. Our six-month residency program includes a studio space, being a part of an inspiring community of artists which allows for exchange and collaborative relationship, a solo gallery exhibition, and a feature in FLOCC’s quarterly publication. It also includes all of the amenities that members of the FLOCC community enjoy.

Program Goals

  • To support individual artists who are at the cutting edge of their fields, whose work will impact the cultural landscape of Dallas. 

  • To provide support and opportunity to help artists take their work to the next      level while encouraging exploration and curiosity.                              

  • To bring artists into our unique community of local, professional artists and encourage their engagement amongst that group. 

  • To facilitate and inspire artists to explore their work without the constraints of financial burden. 

Program Details

  • Private work space with FLOCC Studio for 6 months (living accommodations are not provided.) 

  • Full facilities access 24/7

  • Full access to FLOCC member amenities including fast wifi, 1,000 sq ft. production studio, conference room, etc… 

  • Up to 25 artists working on site.

  • Participation in monthly social gatherings and all FLOCC public events

  • A solo gallery exhibition hosted by FLOCC

  • A write up in FLOCC’s quarterly publication

Selection Criteria

  • Merit of past work

  • Readiness to engage with and benefit from the residency experience at FLOCC

  • Potential to develop creative practice and impact the community

  • Letter of interest, outlining your specific interest in working at FLOCC and how  program participation will affect your practice
